All Lethal Service requires PWHT and 100% RT for butt welds for Pressure Parts.
Do all Sour Service are Lethal in Nature? If not what is the requirements of sour services(non lethal) according to ASME VIII-Div1.
the fabrication period is too short.So we need to use a blind flange instead of UG-34 cover for quick supply.but we had a doubt that the blind flange can't has opening for nozzles because it doesn't meet the requirements of table 6 in B16.5 .

When we ask the software company about the 9.02mm min.thickness. They told us that they add corrosion allowance after taking the lesser of (1.4x tn & hub thickness)!.this issue happens only when adding slip on flange to any pipe size with sch.160. If we use sch.80 or 40 it will has no deficiency
the opening in the blind flange is for nozzles center and off center. not tapered hole as table 6 recommends.
