    I have a project with an elevated precast walkway bearing on concrete piers. The walkway is on a slope (3:1 H:V) and the frost depth is 2.5'. Currently, the piers are called out to be placed on undisturbed earth but I'm wondering if they should be on crushed stone based on the slope and shallow...
