Does anyone know of any literature summarizing Standpipe Design Changes History for the last 130 years or so? I see Kennith Isman has a book out there about standpipes but not sure if it contains the history of design changes. I'd hate to purchase a $100.00 book that doesn't have what I need...

Is there some tips or tricks to determining if a system is Hydraulically Calculated or Pipe Scheduled?
I know in a perfect world a hydraulic placard would be present, but we all know that is never the case. Especially in old buildings.
I know the obvious of checking main/line...
agreed.... I'm not a fan of the pressure settings... That will be in my list of recommendations.

They're losing 15psi every.... maybe month.... It's an extremely small leak.
If I remember correctly, its a 10GPM jockey pump... I'm guessing that's where my problem lies....
