Hi All,
I came across a drawing from 1923. The roof framing consists of "3 1/2" Precast Gypsum Slab", 16" wide and spanning 6 feet.
Does anybody can guide me to a catalogue or published values for these 1920's slabs?
The slab does have some rebar.
Any help is really appreciated.
Thanks,
JP
Thanks bb...but that link in the thread http://www.structuremag.org/article.aspx?articleid=687 shows 404 error. I will reach out to structuremag guys to see whether they can help with this article id.
Being in the business for 15 years...my calculation for a normal building like this..9000sq.ft x $200 (construction cost)= 1.8M.
Total consulting fee shall be 5 to 7 %. Assuming 5 %, total consulting fee = .05 x 1.8M = $90,000.
Struct, Civil, Mech and Elect takes 13% each. So Struct fees is 0.13...
Recently came across 8" Celdex slab from 1976. Does anybody know the specification or load table for this type of precast slab...its similar to Rapidex slab.
Thanks in advance.
