Hello,
Please, I am currently conducting a nonlinear analysis using HyperMesh with OptiStruct (NLPRAM and NLOUT), and it is taking a considerable amount of time. Therefore, I would like to stop the run and continue next week. Is it possible to stop the run and resume from the point where it...

How are you?
in ansys apdl What is the difference between single point response spectrum and Multi point response spectrum ?, and how can i apply multi point response spectrum on the model?.
How are you?
In ansys apdl ,i want to model smeared reinforcement in solid element or in shell element in concrete wall, vertical Top and Bottom Reinforcement have to be modeled (top differs than bottom) , and also to model horizontal reinforcement top and bottom...
thank you MR Erik Panos Kostson , How can you calculate equivalent thickness if i am using top and bott0m reinforcement equal 628 mm^2 and thickness of concrete = 300 mm and if i put orientation that mean the reinforcement in the perpendicular direction. (I understand that you put layer of top...
How are you?
I am trying to model reinforcement to shell181 element in ansys apdl by using this command:
!*
sect,2,reinf,smear,rft
secdata, 3,628,200,0, 0.0,ELEf,3,0.5
ALLSEL,ALL
ereinf
But this message appears ,How can i solve it?.
thank...
Hello,
When i am performing response spectrum analysis i am choosing 12 modes to expand but this message appears:
THE NUMBER OF MODES EXPANDED 5 (mxpand command) does not match the number of modes extracted 12
,How can i solve it ?
thank you...
HELLO,
I am performing spectrum analysis in ansys apdl , i choose SRSS modal combination method but how can i see the results of this combination , because it shows results every mode shape but i want to show combination results for all mode shapes.
