    I-deas to .STL and SLDPRT problems with Solidworks

    You can ask for I-DEAS output as a .idi(SDRC Web Access) file. Then you can use a product like Samsung WiseVIEW to take idi to iges or STL. There is no issue with Solidworks. There is a free 14 day version at www.wiseview-us.com. Good Luck

    Samsung makes a tool for viewing and exporting IDEAS, UG, CATIA, and PRO-E 2D and 3D data. I think this has a batch version available which would go from cgm to image. It is inexpensive to go from image to pdf or other document format. www.wiseview-us.com

    I am trying to document the fonts in a recently recieved project file. While they all work, no one seems to be able to describe to me either automatically or manually how to extract the font name, H, W, etc.. Any help is appreciated!
