    Precast ends will be grouted solid and bearing on a steel plate. CMU wall is part of a " masonry shaft" in a building that will be taking up shear instead of bracing in the wall. So actually the masonry wall is a 16" that will transition to 8". So it will be bearing on 8".

    I'm pinning precast plank to 8" cmu. The shear along the cmu wall (10ft long) is about 2kips per foot. Is there a rebar shear table somewhere i can use? I was going to start with #5s at 12"o.c.
