Dear all!
Curently, our company is changing the plating process of one of our items from EP - PL (electro plating) to NCVM. i have search some ideas for this NCVM and get some sketch as followed:
1. Base coating
2. Vaccume metalizing - using HVLP guns
3. Top coating
However, those pieces can...
Dear IRstuff!
Actually, it is just the materials used in the Headphone named Screen, and the specification cites its materials: NBC, i have no idea how to learn about this. Pls help
Dear all!
Has anybody known about the NBC materials? i have checked this in the Internet but got no information, pls advise what is its compound and its function? if possible, pls advise me in the way it is produced too.
thanks a lot
Wish you nice day
Dear all!
pls tell me the difference of isotropic and anisotropic magnet. As far as i know they are difference in the way they are produced: Isotropic magnet is produced without the magnetic force but anisotropic magnet.
Regarding to their magnetic property, are they much different?
One more...
Dear all!
Would somebody help me diiferentiate the Pole Piece, T Yoke and washer (all of them are headphone parts)? I know what the Pole piece is, but have no idea what the T yoke and Washer are? pls advise me
Thanks a lot
Wish you nice weekdays
Dear all!!
Could you pls show me the exact name of this product? i have checked in the Net for days to find the supplier for this one, but got stuck. pls advise me if you know where to buy it, and its true name (in the Spec stated Yoke, but i found many kinds of Yoke which is not like this one...
Thanks EdStainless and MagMike
My company is not specilized in Yoke at all, it is just one of the materials used for the capsule, I just want to study this one on our company specification.
By the way, are you happened to know any website on the Yoke[about its function, materials...], pls show...
Dear all!
I have question about the coating materials: Chromium. In the drawing, I read that there is the CM2 (colored Chromium - which is explained by the Engineer in my company). is that the colored Chromium much functionally different to normal Chromium? is that much costly than normal...
Thanks EdStainless for your kind help. Now i know the main function of the pole piece, but there are some questions not be explained yet, pls advise me
Dear all!
I have question about the coating materials. Currently, the applied coating for magnets of our company are Ni, Cu-Nib 10, Zn. Some people said the Zn itself is not as strong as Ni and Cu-Nib(the coating thickness stays the same: 10 mic) Is that correct?
Regarding to the coating...
thanks Magmike's and Leslie2000's comment.
@Leslie2000: pls send me the reference to phungxuongtuan@gmail.com, thanks a lot.
i supposed that adding new question in the same thread will save more space. Now i knew the rule, thanks for your reminding
Sorry all, i miss this question.
i knew the magnet has the coercivity (Hcb) to keep itself from being demagnetized, but there is something call intrinsic coercivity (Hci). i have checked the internet to get some information about it, but it sounds too tough to understand (there are formulars...

Thanks
Have a noce day ^^
thanks Edstainless and MagMike, so it means Al-Ni-Co does not give a chance T_T. how about the Fe-Cr-Co magnet? i have read on some website and checked that the characteristic is quite similar to Nd-Fe-B, could it stand a chance?
the other thing is that, i noticed that in the material code of...
Hi all!
I am a new member of eng-tips.com ^^
my company is speciliazied in Earphone and the magnet NdFeB is in used. The Spec is like this OD 5 x ID 2 x 1 mm, BH(max)kj/m3: 263~279, Br: mT(SI) 1.17~1.22, Hc: kA/m 860 MIN, Ep-REFe by Zn or CU+Nib. I am curious about the Al-Ni-Co magnet,if i...
