I just upgraded to STAAD.Pro V8i (SELECTseries 6) from SELECTseries2. In the SELECTseries 2 i had the option to sort the beams in the Unity Check by clicking on the Actual Ration header in the table. This does not work any more after i upgraded to SELECTseries 6. Does anyone have the same...

Im doing a static structural ansys WB analyse of a square frame. I imported the model from solidworks, but not with the 4 slings holding the frame up. Is there any tip on how to add supports in the 4 corners of the frame to simulate the 45 degrees slings(see photo).

Hi, im making a 8x8 meter quadratic spreader beam that i was thinking of making in HUP profiles. It will hang from 4 steel wire connected to the corners. What element types should i choose in ANSYS 13?
