I am a gunsmith, and have an 1911 part file that was imported from an STEP file in my 2018 solidworks.
When opening, solidworks asks if i wants to use feature recognition? and i klick yes, but than nothing happens.
On the add-ins , the feature works button is selected.

I have a solidworks part, in witch i want to delete a cutout feature, but when deleting the cutout feature, a second cutout feature witch uses a plane within the to be deleted feature, is deleted also.
How can i make a copy of the plane that i need to keep the second cutout...
