Just a quick question....is there any standard that prevents me from welding a threadolet/flexolet on the end of a welded cap or even limits the size of the tap as well? I've looked through some applicable standards but can't seem to find anything.

This is just a general question but where do the requirements for the class location originate from? So for example, a class 1 is intended for 10 or fewer buildings or dwellings. My question is why is it 10 and not 11 or no? Who made the decision that it was 10 for class 1 and 46 for class 2, etc?

This is just an opinion question but have you guys had previous dealings with either cust-o-fab, perry products or southern heat exchanger? How would you rate them? I'm looking to purchase some heat exchangers from one of them and have never done business with either of them.

What is a better valve for throttling natural gas with a high differential around the valve? Ball, plug or globe? To me, I thing a globe would be the best option but I know a lot of people choose the plug instead.
