I would like to know whether it is safe to assume that static and dynamic stiffness in metals can be assumed to be the same. Metals , in general have very little damping ,hence both static and dynamic stiffness should not differ am I correct ?

I would like to know where exactly shall I place the point of excitations? I have placed the excitation at a point that's level to the base of the spring. And that point is connected via RBE2 elements , is this a correct practice , please do shed some light on this
