As a practice we started to default all views to Smart Lightweight but one of our designers today noticed the thread arc's are not displaying and the feature parameters callout becomes dashed/broken. Can the thread arc's and feature information be turned on in Smart Lightweight?
Where can I find a list of attributes that can be added to the 2D views and and what they control for NX 10? We are looking at trying some drawing automation and trying to figure out what all we can do.
When I click the "Record Movie" button the "Stop Movie Recording" lights up and then goes gray. I cannot select stop and if I click record again is says "Movie recording is already in progress" has anyone else seen this?
Is there an easy way to show just the hidden lines for just the openings on a roof plate under the covers without showing everything in the cabinet or the rest of the hidden lines for the roof? We want to who the gland plate size and the opening size and location in the same view.
One of our guys did a component override on the "CALLOUT" attribute and we can't find a way to remove the override so it auto updates again and inherits the data from our PLM system...
Is there a way to remove all orphaned dimensions and note from a set of drawings? If I take a master assembly and remove parts from it I'd like the dimensions and notes removed without manually searching thru multiple drawings.
We are using NX with TeamCenter intergration and are trying to find a way to use the inches quantity in the TC bill to drive the length of the model in the assembly for things such as din rail and conduit.So far we are stumped so any ideas of where to start looking would be great.
