I'm looking for help creating one large clean surface either from many surfaces or a solid with many faces.
What I'm working with.
I'm working with a Catia model with a geometric set of surfaces and we'd like to make one large surface out of them to use as a cutting tool in another CAD...
My co-workers install only shows catproducts geo but not catparts geo. When a catpart is opened only the tree is displayed and reframing on the solid does nothing. When a catpart is open and the “fit all in” button is pushed only the tree gets bigger and NO part is displayed.
Does anyone have a...
The part came in as IGS data and is made of surfaces along with some other entities. I really wanted to use the Catia v5 functions to flatten this part, but I run into issues because of my inexperience.
I know the GSD--> Recognize could flatten this part if it was a solid with constant thinness...

I also used Solidworks 2010 "convert to sheet metal" command which got me close, but solidworks hates the tips of this part and...

I really would like to be able to make screen shots of all the views labeled Primary datum’s, GD&T and so on. And put them into a folder with the text file...
