    pump unloading schematics question

Hi, I have a question regarding the pump unloading valve. Below is the link to the datasheet: https://apps.boschrexroth.com/products/compact-hydraulics/ch-catalog/pdf/059006XYZ_RE18310-13.pdf I cannot understand what is the point of the section (valve) encircled in a picture below. I believe...

205 VDC vs 230 VAC coils

Hi, I came across a hydraulic valve with 205 VDC coil recently. The coil has a connector with rectifier mounted on it. That means that the voltage applied to the coil is 230 VAC. I am wondering, why not use an AC valve with 230 VAC coils instead of valve with 205 VDC coils?

Accumulator maximum pressure & minimum pressure

Hello, I have been looking into accumulator formulas and would like your opinion on it. Let's say I would like to use an accumulator to extract a cylinder at 100 bar. What would be in that case the minimum working pressure (P1) and maximum working pressure (P2). I'm guessing the minimum would...

Flow divider with check valve problem

Hello, Can anybody maybe point me to a problem solution which I have on an attached circuit. There is a problem occuring during lowering. We experience "load vibration" or check valves tilting. I assume that p.o. check valves aren't opening at the same time although we have a counterbalance...

power control axial piston pump calculation

Hello, I would like to read some opinions regarding extension and/or retraction time calculation of a hydraulic cylinder when using axial piston pump with power controller (e.g. Rexroth DFLR) . I have a pressure/stroke curve for a cylinder and a pump with fixed power value. How can I...

Check valve in the return line

Hello, could you please help me review this circuit? http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=c0f595de-85fe-4d93-b2ca-b15a75d9c85a&file=2013-01-13_Check_valve.pdf There's a 5 bar check valve in the return line. There's also a pressure switch set to 5 bar. What would be the purpose for...

    dual counterbalance valve

Could You help me out with some thoughts regarding a dual counterbalance valve size? By looking at a datasheets from various manufacturer's, both of the CB's screwed in a dual housing are designed for the same flow. As far as I know, it's not good to oversize the CB valve. Therefore, I...

    draftsight pointer issues

Hello, Can anybody advise me about pointer movement issues that I'm experiencing in Draftsight? The pointer is just "too slow", i.e. lags behind mouse movement. I've tried Tools>Options>User Preferences>Drafting options>Pointer Controls, but no success. Or perhaps I didn't find what to adjust?

    countarbalance valve with prv???

Hello, I have a question regarding counterbalance valve. I've received a tip to install a pressure relief valve together with a counterbalance valve. So I'm wondering what do I achieve by that? Do I use a PRV next to the CB valve when it is set to high, i.e. higher than maximum cylinder...
