"Predict Storage Tank Heat Transfer Precisely" Example Error?

Hi All, I'm building a tank heat loss spreadsheet with reference to the article "Predict Storage Tank Heat Transfer Precisely" and have noticed that in the article example they are multiplying the liquid phase Grashof number by 100 and not the vapour phase. A105 Valves in Low Temp Service - CSA Z662

All, I need some help with a CSA Z662 interpretation. Here's the situation: - I have a CSA piping spec that calls for the use of A105 valves in a LVP (oil), low temp (-45 deg C), PN100 (9930 kPag) service. - CSA Z662 table 5.1 states that LVP service is categorized at Cat. 1 with no min...

Trim 8 in lieu of trim 12

Hi there, I'm wondering if trim 8 can be used in lieu of trim 12 for an A105-N check valve in a sour hydrocarbon service with a design temp of 294 deg C and pressure of 7832 kPA. From what I've read the only difference seems to be trim 8 uses 410SS, while trim 12 uses 316SS Thanks
