Hi All,
I am running a simulation of ductile damage of a beam under flexure.
I see that the damage criterion is achieved however, the Job fails after/around the damage initiation! It gives convergence error!
How can I resolve that! Any suggestion is highly appreciated!!!

Can I use Ductile damage criteria with standard isotropic plasticity (1st option in the Abaqus plastic material behavior defined by yield stress and plastic strain)?
