We work with a company in China that is using a internal/tilt mixer. We will be mixing a mineral (silica) filled NR compound and will be adding silane to it. We believe we will need to mix a masterbatch first and bring the mixing temperature up to and dump at 150C.

Of the cure systems listed below, which would likely yield the best (lowest) compression set in a Natural Rubber compound? Also, recommendations on a better one would be appreciated.

Sulfur 0.6 phr
TBBS 1.3 phr

What immersion fluid used in for the test described in MIL-DTL-26842? Are there multiple fluids? Is there other information required to determine the fuild to be immersed in as well as the time and temperature?
