    Hi...i work in a petroleum Refinery

    Hi...i work in a petroleum Refinery. We have done hot tappings in various hydrocarbon lines. Presently there is a requirement to take a hot tap in a methanol line. Can this be done? If yes, are there any special precautions to be taken other than proper flow to dissipate heat. Thanks in advance.
