Looking for some advice on the splaying of nails in a soil nail wall with a re-entrant corner.
Obviously the splay angle is dependant on the wall angle, but how does one analyze/design these? Do you just make the nail longer so the end has an equivalent "horizontal distance" from the face of...
Has anyone used the SNAP program for designing a soil nail wall? Is it a good program ?
It seems PEinc is pretty experienced with soil nail wall design.
What program would you think is the best out there for soil nail wall design?
