Any body who is envolved in tunneling worsk, my question lies in water inflow criteris; what is the best limit of water inflow to execute grouting works in soft ground using canopy pipes... consider big section of tunnel say 16m x 20m... Thanks in advance.

The area was once a river and the deepth of the sands, silt and soil was too thick. Soil test was done to 40m deepth and no change on soil parameters. The result of the test suggested floating foundation but time consuming even on paper works only(Lisemsing, permits,limmited working hours, etc)...
