Is there a quick way of run a test to make sure I don't have duplicate surfaces on my model. I have to import a lot of models from other cad systems and normal have to repair them and this has been a problem in the past when I come to sew the surfaces together to create a solid.

I am trying to offset a curve down a x and y axis so far the only tools I am using will only let me offset in one direction If anyone can help this would be appreciated.

When I am using the face analysis to check my tapers I find a lot of my faces/surfaces are backwards and I end up selecting them one by one to reverse them. Is there away to make sure when I am modelling them to make sure they are facing the right up or when I have finished and come to check...
Is There a way I can see if a surface/sheet is flat to a wcs? In the past I have notice sheets/surfaces have been not flat but only when I look dead close I have attached a jpeg on what I am try achieve.

Is there a way of changing the f8 view? If I have a new wcs I want to view it by pressing f8 but this always seems to rotate to the original or world wcs there must be a way to reference to the new wcs?

When I try to measure a distance between two objects in a assembly with my measure distance tool I can only select one solid because this is the work part but not the other solid? Is there away around this or am I using the wrong measuring tool?
