    Hello guys, we have plate steel S235 JR (1.0038), with surface treatment TENIFER Q. Can we use a HSS cobalt drillbit for this or require something harder?

    Torsional strength of shaft with keyway

    Hello, Just wondering the best way to calculate a shafts shear strength in torsion when it has a keyway. Do you assume the diameter is at the root of the keyway? Include a stress concentration factor? Thanks!

    ISO 2151 is this sound pressure level or sound power level?

    Question in the title... I see values stated like this and dont know whether they mean sound power level or sound pressure level: Noise level (ISO 2151): 66dB(A) I would assume it is sound power level, but can someone confirm? Tom
