Please, i want to know the position of valves on standby PSV.
I know that the downstream manual valve should always be locked open, and if it is a single valve upstream, it should be locked close. But in a situation of double-block upstream what should be the position of each valve...
I know that LDTs are to measure difference in level between two liquids.
But, my question is what will be the behaviour of the LDT when it sees only one phase of the liquid?
Please, i need an explanation to the meaning of a try-cock, if it's just a valve name only or also apply to as a set of valve arrangement for sampling vessel levels when level gauges are in-operative.
