    mechanical compass switch

    Hi all; Just wondering if anyone would know how to make a mechanical compass switch - to turn a motor(s) on/off when say 5 degrees off from a Northern heading. I'm working on a software application to do this - but thought it might be a possible mechanical solution. Thx!
