I am having an issue with the difference between servo valves and solenoid valves. For example, if I needed one 4 way 3 position solenoid valve for one double acting cylinder, how would using a servo compare?
Hi all,
Is there a way to simulate cylinders that move a mechanical arm in a creo assembly. I'd like to animate the arm in use and also possibly get the forces at different points during operation. I think using servo motors will work, but not exactly sure how to set it up correctly. Thanks!
Good morning,
I am working on designing an arm for my team's underwater ROV project. The assembly in Creo consists of links, hydraulic cylinders, brackets, and plates. In total, there are 4 double-acting cylinders. One to allow the arm to pivot about the base, two for the arm joint movement...
Greetings, My team is currently working on the design of a mechanical arm to be attached to the frame of the ROV, and want to have the entire hydraulic system onboard. The issue we are facing is that there will be two arm with each requiring 4 double-acting cylinders, and two solenoids per...
