    Dear Experts I would like to define an orthotropic material, which follows deformation in the axes shown below. To be more clear, I would like the model to contract in X/-X-direction ,Y/-Y-direction, and not in the Z-direction. How can I do that?

    how to add new material

    I want to add a new isotropic material. I know how to do it, but the problem is the thermal expansion coefficient should follow a parabolic trend, y=x2. I'm not able to figure it out. I'm using NX10. Regards Chapman

    NX 10 NASTRAN Temperature loads inactive

    I have been trying to do a thermal analysis using NASTRAN, but the thermal loads are inactive even if I have applied them. what should I do? The simulation navigator says so.
