I'm looking for some information on different types of finishes or coatings (corrosion resistant) commonly available for aluminum 6061 I commonly use anodizing and electroless nickel. On different machines I've seen aluminum parts with a clear coating that feels smooth like an epoxy.
I understand how to use them but my book gives very exact answers that I feel I could only estimate. Is there a formula used when your P(reduced) and T(reduced) aren't nice numbers to work with?
