I'm designing new tank due to increase of capacity from the existing tank. This tank is for the storage of chemical (acidic product) and to maintain the operating temperature in between 60degC to 120degC, external steam coil is required.

I'm going to visit flare stack unit in a gas plant in another two weeks. My client gave some information that the current flare which was operated since 1992 (without blower) is having black smoke issue.

I'm working on a project for new flare stack replacement. However currently we are only provided with very limited data that the original design capacity for existing flare is 1.25 BSCFD to cater on the total blowdown of plant.
Can anyone help me to understand how to get the capacity...
