    Good evening, For thickness calculation What does this factor accounts for? and why is it only used in ASME B31.8 but not ASME B31.3 & B31.4 ? Your accurate response is highly appreciated.

    Mill Tolerance

    Good Morning everyone, My question is, why do we use the 12.5% mill tolerance for seamless pipes in ASME B31.3 only while it is absent in B31.4 & B31.8 for seamless pipes ?
