    Hafnium effect on Inconal 625 castings

    I want to produce CW6MC Castings with virgin metal and so I have been offered Niobium-Hafnium Alloy (90% Nb and 10 Hf) by the seller.     Castings of ASTM A494 CW6MC when Radiographed, it reveals random straight lines. Why?
