    Min distance "A" between reinforcing plate and vertical weld joint

    Good day I have a distance (A)125mm between periphery of reinforcing plate and vertical weld joint of tank. In API 650 it shown as A=150mm (Fig. 5.6). Can we reduce distance "A" to 125mm (with RT or PWHT)? Dia. of nozzle 6" WTH of tank 8mm Water Storage tank. Reinforcing plate type RTR Thanks
