I've noticed something glaringly obvious.
My six-cylinder engine is effectively two three-cylinder engines with a common crankshaft.
Cylinders 1-3 have a common exhaust manifold as do cylinders 4-6.
The intake has individual throttle bodies with all six cylinders have a common plenum.

I can see how scavenging would work in a system with very little back pressure, but how does it work in a system with a catalytic converter and mufflers?

I have a BMW M Roadster and I've been gently modifying using labour and minimal cost - my rules.
I have insulated the intake side of the engine with aluminium shielding and loft insulation and gold insulation tape...
I didn't have any testing software before the exhaust...
