I'm looking for the art's state about Pipeline isolating devices.
I see the typical and well known Monoblock joints and/or flanged joints, but someone knows about some improvement in this technical or any better or newer device to isolating catodically protected pipelines?

Someone has experience, calculation memories, handbooks, blueprints, etc. about the design and construction of caissons for the repair of pipes under shallow water?
Just to share this characterization of a piece of carbon steel with a surface finish, in which needles were precipitated inside the ferrite near the surface.
I am in the process of analyzing them in SEM to identify their qualitative composition.
Have you characterized any like that?

Yes, It's look like AISI Serie 61xx, Cr-V Steel (like the legend in some handtool), but i'm not sure about the Moly content in this serie.
