    Hello, What is considered a "general service" pump in downstream refining? I would have thought any utilities, water services, etc. are considered general service, but the terminology is also mentioned in API 610 when referring to inspection levels. Thanks.

    API 547 Vertical Motor

    Does anyone know why API 547 does not cover vertical motors? Most suppliers provide "API 547" vertical motors, but I assume they are only designed for the intent of the specification.
