Dear all, I have a question about welding on austenitic stainless steel according to NACE MR0175. In the PQR, do I need to demonstrate that the hardness meets the requirements?
Does the PQR need specific tests to comply with NACE, or is austenitic stainless steel implicitly compliant?

we performed a butt weld ( full penetration ) qualification with the following characteristics:
ASTM A350-LF2 to ASTM A333 GR.6
Thickness of pipe 5,54 [mm]
Diameter of Test Coupon 60,30 [mm]( 2 inc )
Welding Process(es) GTAW
Poition 6G
Amps. 100 to 130
Volts 15 to 16...
A well-known supplier of welded load ring, claims to supply an S355J2+N with impact test at -45. shouldn't he call it S355J4 / J5?
Can S355 reach these temperatures?

I have to weld a T-joint in full penetration with dissimilar thicknesses in Asme IX. Both materials are in carbon steel (P-N.1.2) the only QW that speaks of dissimilar thicknesses is QW-202.4.
