    Abaqus explicit Yield status (output request)

    I was wondering if there is a status output request for yield in abaqus explicit (yielded(1) or not(0)). I use Mises stress to check yield but I just wonder if there are other ways to check it.

    How to determine the optimal number of CPUs for a simulation?

    Before I did not have this problem since I had limited cores. Right now I am able to use up to 512 cpus and I would like to learn if there is a way to optimize the cpu usage or a rule of thumb. Thanks
