Anybody have any resources on how to design gating/runner etc for casting embedded pipes? Similar to how they do copper tubing in Al for refrigerators but I couldn't find any resources on that. Need some guidelines/resources on how this might turn out and watch to watch for.
I'm a new engineer starting a role at a casting company. I'm interested in primarily investment casting. I have both of these textbooks on hand but only have time to read one of them. Which textbook would you guys recommend I read first?

Best technical textbooks on casting (specifically investment casting)? I'm looking for a good technical textbooks on casting in general, but I'm specifically interested in investment casting using ceramics for metals such as steel. But I'm open to any general book on casting design
