We just installed new machines (CNC milling, lathe, drilling and saw machine) in our shop (we had non before), and I want some ideas for tools storage and arrangements, bench setup, measurement tool area, .. etc.
I would love to see some of your ideas, even if it's a bit messy.
I want to know if the following o-ring groove design is acceptable and will preform well? or should I change it to a radial groove like the second image?

I'm working on some sort of enclosure, I have some limitation in the overall size of the enclosure, and I'm wondering if there is some guideline for the width "T" of the face next to the o-ring groove (as shown in the attached picture). the enclosure's material is Al.
