Not a fan of this type of callout.
I ran a circle at the far edges of both bores then recalled into a 3d line . Put a few more circles on both diameters and asked for runout back to the 3D line. I guess I report the highest runout value? Is that correct or is there a better way??

We're creating a chamfer by pressing a form pin up against a relatively sharp corner in a bore. The chamfer forms between a face and a thru bore. So we used an arbor press. I measured the force at about 750 lbs. So now we are buying a pneumatic press. It has adjustable speed and force. Does it...
Hello,
Iam trying to form a small feature onto a piece on incut 200. It has been carbonitrided to 55-60 HRC. Case depth is .008-.013
I guess I am coining a small feature (.002-.008 deep ) . Do you think I can achieve this without cracking the part? I will be moving material about .003 per side...
I have a need for some advice. I have a carbide shaft that needs to side back and forth thru a bushing in a gage we are modifying. The carbide shaft is .375 " diameter. We have built one out of 932 (SAE 660). The shaft has to move pretty freely back and forth but has to be very tight side to...
The company I work for, provides precision grinding services to our customers. We do honing, ID, and OD grinding as well as surface grinding on a large variety of materials. Typical diameter tolerances are +.000/-.0001" we also hold roundness and cylindricity to .000050" or less. Most of our...
I am looking for a slow cure, low viscosity (below 10,000 Cps), Epoxy. Apparently, this is not a very common product. I've been searching for days.
Any help would be appreciated.
I am working on a special project. I need to bond a bronze bushing to a hole drilled in a carbon fiber block. The bushing will be fixtured in place, both seams at each end will be temporarily sealed with silicon then I need to inject glue(epoxy) in through an access hole to fill the gap between...
