why i'm not able to choose the shaft horizontal edge to create a dimension during sketching!
I have to create construction line to give dimension , is there any settings in NX12.0 to enable this edges to get snapped while sketching?

when try to extrude something by selecting a face or any reference using 'until selected' option, i get an error 'unable to trim-change the trim type/data' prompt.

How to align jumbled multiple dimensions to a straight single line horizontally or vetically in same selecting all the dimension at once.

when I start a sketches on any existing models by snapping an edge or the face, sketch still be not constrained to the point where i have snapped, sketch still will be unconstrained and free to move in all DOF.
is there any setting that i could set to contrain on choosen edge or point...

When i open any step file containing an assembly in it > I save it to .prt > taken it to drafting > my drafting template turned to gray color and i was not able to edit the layer of the template like "title block, borders & marginds" and even the dimension text formats...

I want to send a client drafting file to add some information from there end.
But i want to hide or lock 3D model linked to that drafting file.
or atleast i want to hide the feature design tree of the model, my boss don't want us to show the client what are all commands we have...
suppose my objective :
creating two shafts
1. shaft ∅20x 50 L
2. shaft ∅ 30 x 100L.
what i would do is in solidworks.
1.i'll create two shafts as differnt part files.
2. create complete drafting file for using any one of the shaft, let's say ∅20 x 50L.
3. save as a copy that drafting file for...
Please tell me how to give an edge blend or round fillet choosing 3 faces in the one body .
1. sometimes it is necessary to choose the faces of the body so fillet command should decide the appropriate fillets for those but in NX i am not able give such blends
2.is there any hidden commands...

because before clicking preserve shape for one of my model created using swept i was not able to give a edge blend but then edited the parameters and clicked...

I have saved this below model as a STEP file from NX and when the same .stp file opened in SOLIDWORKS it is crashing and showing this model as a surface model cutting some hollow , is there any proper method i have to follow while saving STEP file in NX.
