Dry pipe high pressure switch question

NFPA 13 2013 or other edition I am about 90% sure it is there. I though somewhere in NFPA 13, it does not allow a shut off valve, between the dry pipe valve, and the high pressure switch? Help, am I dreaming? I know I have researched it before.
