I am puzzled by the form of Nonlinear staged construction.
I can understand all but "Load added in group" and "Load all in group". In these two items, I can select the "group", "load type" and "load name". What's the difference?
My recently work focuses on arches with large web openings.
But I can hardly find literatures on this subject.
Some people have done works on beams with large web openings(cellular beam or castellated beam). And even some companies construct projects using beams or arches with large web...
I am doing a seismic analysis with ansys.
After 400 steps(substeps), .rst file in ansys reaches
4. GBytes, then, ansys is closed automatically.
I tried several times, and the results are the same.
ansys is closed as soon as .rst reaches 4.Gbytes.
What should I do if I want more steps than 400...
