    Wall Horiz Rebar--Top or Other Bars??

    In the past I have provided Class "B" laps in reinforcing for wall horizontals as required by "Other Bars" per ACI 318 in lieu of "Top Bars". I can't find the reference that makes this acceptable (something like this comes to mind) "horizontal bars in walls need not be considered top bars"...
