PN20 and PN50 Flange Dimension Template

ISO 7500-2 contains PN20 and PN50 for Cast Iron Flanges. Based on this I would assume that the same should exist for Alloy Steel Flanges. However, after sbmitting my post, the verbiage in ISO-7500 would appear to apply to Alloy Steel flanges as well. These DIN and ISO standards are a bit...

PN20 and PN50 Flange Dimension Template

Is anybody aware of DIN Flange drilling Template Spec for PN20 and PN50 Flanges? DIN 1092-1 includes all but PN20 and PN50. I'm Designing Valves to meet ASME Class 150, 300 and 600 and they must also meet equivalent PN20, PN50 and PN100. PN100 dimensions in DIN 1092-1 are not the same as ASME...

    PN 20, 50 Flange Dimensions

BS-EN1092-1:2007; 'table17-Dimensions of PN100 Flangs' invokes Annex J for Flange Dimensions on sizes DN400 & 500. However, Flange Thickness (C3) is not included in Annex J. Does thickness require calculation? If so, please provide Standard for Calculation Method (Is it comparable to B&PVC VIII...

    PN 20, 50 Flange Dimensions

How are DIN Valves Designed if no Face to Face Std exists by PN rating?

    PN 20, 50 Flange Dimensions

Awesome micalbrch thx. What DIN Std would specify Face to Face?

    PN 20, 50 Flange Dimensions

In addition, do PN ratings meet Face to Face dims of equivalent ASME Classes?

    PN 20, 50 Flange Dimensions

If I understand correctly, PN 16 (CWP=232 psi) and lower flanges can be used on ASME Class 150 (CWP=275 psi) Valves. PN 25 (363 psi) & 40 (580 psi) on ASME Class 300 (CWP=720 psi). PN 64 (CWP=928 psi) on ASME Class 600 (CWP=1480 psi)... What DIN Standard specifies the valve wall thickness based...

    PN 20, 50 Flange Dimensions

What Standard contains Flange Dimensions for PN20 (equivalent to ASME 150 class) and PN50 (equivalent to ASME 300 Class)? I have a copy of BS EN 1092-1 but it does not include PN20 or 50. Thanks

ASME VIII DIV 1 Section Y: Flange Thickness Formulae

Thanks for your feedback Ibrahim. Please do not take the duplication of my question into another forum personally, or that I disregarded your response. I merely wanted to get additionally feedback from alternate fields of expertise.I apologize if I affended you in anyway.

ASME VIII DIV 1 Section Y: Flange Thickness Formulae

Y-1 refers to statement in VIII Div 1 Appendix Y; Y-1 (under General) paragraph b, where it states the allowanace of HG if using a non-pressure energized seal.

ASME VIII DIV 1 Section Y: Flange Thickness Formulae

ASME Section VIII DIV 1 Appendix Y states that the rules apply to flat Face, Identical and Non-Identical Flange Pairs where uniform metal to metal contact occurs outside bolt circle. The rules apply for negligible gasket loads (ie. Pressure Energized O-ring Body Seal) HG=0. In addition, Section...

ASME VIII DIV 1 Section Y: Flange Thickness Formulae

Appx 2 rules do not apply for metal to metal contact outside bolt circle and do not take into account the added stiffness contribution between body/end plate flanges; ultimately resulting in thinner flange thickness values. Re-reading Section VII DIV 1; Appx Y-1(b)".....It assumes that the seal...
