I'm not sure how pressure\volume works out with the scroll type compressor. Most of the ones on the market are high-pressure low-volume, while VW's G-Lader is the other way around.

I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about these compressors used in Volkswagen cars.
First of all.. does anyone know who made these? I strongly doubt Volkswagen made them themselves, I am assuming they contracted their manufacture out.
If not, does anyone know who makes these...
