Hello,
I have a situation where I am developing new parts templates because the OOTB template is inadequate for our applications. I was able to create a template and place it in Teamcenter in its own designitem by copying the sample out of the UGII directory. I was able to modify it to suit my...
Thanks for the replies. We use to have the bidirectional functionality in 7.5 but when we moved up to 9 we lost it. I'm thinking the problem lies with how the attributes are communicating with TC but I'm just out of my league here and grasping at straws.
Thanks for the reply and I could see where checking it out could cause the problem but we have been explicitly checking out the forms, items and revisions. We had implicit checkout turned on for awhile and it was a DISASTER. Now we checkout everything to do our work. There isn't a lot of...

We are trying to implement a best practices and have come to two schools of thought. The end goal is to have multiple representations of a finished sub-assembly module so that...
Thank you for your reply.
We actually have both instances, division specific, and are trying to develop a company policy going forward.
Do you know of any problems that may be encountered if a part contains multiple bodies. Ie exporting/importing through various formats, compatability with...
We are just implementing NX/TC and a question was posed by a beta tester. NX allows a simple weldment of simple parts, one that could be detailed in one drawing, to be one part with multiple bodies. Then a material list could be generated similiar to a BOM and weld assistant could be used just...
