Hi guys,
I am looking for neoprene tubing with these specifications: 1/16" wall thickness, 3" ID, durometer 10A. Everything I've been able to find is either too hard (~70A) or too small (most go up to ~1.25"). Where would you guys look to find something like this, and if I have to get it custom...
Hey guys,
How do you get unilateral profile tolerance boundaries to show up on drawings in Pro/E? Also, once you get them to even show up, how would you get Pro/E to show a tolerance zone from, say, point A to point B with a "between" symbol under the feature control frame? I googled the hell...
The "bottle" formed thread is an interesting idea and it looks like it will probably have to work. I am working on different scaled down versions of a larger assembly and this isn't even the thinnest wall I'm going to have to work with. Any idea what those threads are technically called or what...
Hey guys, thanks for your replies. I probably should have clarified a little more - the retaining ring or end cap is only there to keep the stuff in place, and is not subjected to any loading. Uniform wall thickness is important, which is why retaining rings are usually used instead of end caps...
I'm working with a very small, thin metal tube, on the order of .75" ID and .90" OD. I need to design a retaining ring or end cap of some sort to keep stuff inside of it. I checked the UN thread standard and even though there are a couple threads that will just barely fit in there, it's...
I have a drawing of a simple cylinder that has to be dynamically balanced. It uses the diameter of the cylinder as a datum feature to establish an axis, then it specifies concentricity on the cylinder with respect to that axis. Is that allowed? Thanks.
