I really do appreciate the thoughtful response, John. It is very interesting to know how it works. I'm sorry if I was insulting in the manner I posted, that was certainly not my intent.
I'm aware that CAD modeling programs are significantly more complicated in their architecture than Word and Excel. But if I save a file in NX7.5 that was originally created in NX6 without using any geometry that was not possible to do in NX6, I really don't think it is a crazy thought to allow...
Thanks guys,
I definitely can understand why the standard file format is not compatible, I just find it odd that there's no way to save the file in a format that is compatible with an older version (without having to go through a lengthy export process.) Many other programs have been doing this...

Thanks for the reply, but that's not exactly what I'm looking for. The problem is not that the toolbars aren't saved to their location, it's that I can easily move them around on accident after I've set them.
I've done a search on this for when I was using NX6, and couldn't find any information. Now that I've switched to NX7.5, I figured I'd ask again.
I have a problem that I often drag and move my toolbars around on accident when I'm trying to click on an icon. This is annoying, because as I'm...
We recently switched to some Windows 7 workstations, and we're trying to work out all of the kinks to get our stuff working properly again.
We're having trouble getting our Plotters to work.
I have added the two environment variables UGII_SDI_BPS_JOBS_DIR & UGII_SDI_OVERRIDE_HOME, which...
