I am using ABAQUS 6.9 and would like to apply a residual stress region on 2D Plate in a specific section.
I am trying to enter a compressive stress = -200E06 to a set called set-1. I read online that to apply a stress to a set the following must be entered:
*INITIAL CONDITIONS, type=stress...
i have the exact same issue that i need resolved, i have a residual stress profile through the thickness of a specimen.
